Ozark Fruit Company

Vendor Biography

Craig and Patrice Jennings relocated to West Plains at the end of 2009, fueled by the dream of running a sustainable farm in the Ozarks. With new straw hats in hand, they embarked on a journey that began with purchasing pigs, chickens, and cows.

They cultivated a large garden and a couple of acres of blackberries, introducing a “you-pick” experience to the community. Their involvement in the local food movement in West Plains deepened, and with excess berries available, they started producing blackberry jam. This endeavor quickly expanded.

Utilizing an old outbuilding, Craig and Patrice built a commercial kitchen, launching the Ozark Fruit Co. They now offer their homemade products at the “Go Farm” Farmers Market, featuring 10 varieties of jam and 6 types of syrup, each crafted to delight even the sweetest tooth. Each jar is filled with care—ensuring quality and sometimes even a burnt finger or two to prove it.
